The concept of Bitcoin DeFi and furthering of the Bitcoin ecosystem goes back long before the term DeFi itself was coined. From the inception of Coloured Coins and NameCoin, the move to expand the use of Bitcoin to encapsulate the many aspects of TradFi (Traditional Finance) has been of concern to many users and developers looking at advancing towards a Bitcoin standard.

In this edition of Coinscrum, we look at how far the efforts of these projects have come about and the idea of scaling Bitcoin via BIPs, Layer 2 protocols, sidechains etc as well as how the latest upgrades to the Bitcoin protocol could spark a new wave of innovation on the Bitcoin Network.

We’ll be welcoming experts working on some of these exciting projects to share their thoughts.

With a staggering amount of spaces filled for our new event series, be sure to get your tickets fast to guarantee entry and avoid missing out!
