From the inception of Coloured Coins and NameCoin, the move to expand the use of Bitcoin to encapsulate the many aspects of TradFi (Traditional Finance) has been of concern to many users and developers looking at advancing towards a Bitcoin standard.

 

In this edition of Coinscrum, we look at how far the efforts of these projects have come about and the idea of scaling Bitcoin via BIPs, Layer 2 protocols, sidechains etc as well as how the latest upgrades to the Bitcoin protocol could spark a new wave of innovation on the Bitcoin Network.
